This policy explains what personal information Nexen Properties ("Nexen", "we", "us") collects through nexen-properties.com and when you contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Information you send us. When you use our contact form, we receive your first and last name, email address, the topic you choose and your message, plus your phone number if you give it. When you email us, including job applications, we receive what you include, such as your resume and cover letter.

Technical information. Our website host, Wix, collects standard technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and the date and time, to run and secure the site and to give us basic visitor statistics.

How we use it

To answer your questions about leasing, partnerships, careers or anything else you ask. To review job applications. To keep the website secure and working, and to understand how many people visit and which pages they use. To meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

Who we share it with

Our team members who handle your request. Service providers who host our website, forms and email for us, including Wix. Authorities, when the law requires it.

Cookies and similar technology

Wix sets cookies that the site needs to work and to stay secure, and uses cookies to produce the visitor statistics described above. Its network provider, Cloudflare, sets a short-lived cookie to tell people from automated bots. Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site may not work fully if you block the ones it needs.

Do Not Track signals

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for how websites should respond to it, so this site does not change what it does when it receives one. Wix and Google, named above, receive technical information when you visit and handle it under their own privacy policies. We do not use advertising trackers that follow you across other websites.

Our apartment communities

Each of our apartment communities, such as NOVA, The Amara, Archer Hollywood, Jayden and NEXEN Apartments, has its own website and leasing process. Applications, leases and resident portals are handled there, under those sites' own privacy policies. This policy covers nexen-properties.com only.

Job applicants

If you apply for a job by email, we use what you send, such as your contact details, resume, work history and cover letter, to consider you for the role and similar roles, to contact you about them, and to meet our obligations as an employer. We share it only as described above.

Links to other websites

Our pages link to other websites, such as our communities' websites and our LinkedIn page. Those sites are run by their owners under their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

How long we keep it

We keep messages, form submissions and job applications for as long as we need them to respond and for our business records, and as long as the law requires, and then we delete them.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing nexen@nexen-properties.com or calling (310) 320-7873. If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under California law, including to know what personal information we collect and to ask us to delete it. We do not sell or share personal information as California law defines those terms. We will not treat you differently for making a request, and we will reply within the time the law requires. Someone you authorize can make a request for you. We may need to confirm your identity, or theirs, before we act on a request.

Children

This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect personal information. No website or email system is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
